An Early Morning with Friends…

Before I flew out west, I made a quick (less-than-24-hour) trip to Toronto. My friends Anna, Jacob and daughter Lily welcomed Eve into their family in June.  I had to meet this new little girl, as well as go to an appointment and do some summer clothes shopping!

So I went over to their house… in the early morning on a July 10th I drove over to their house to have a visit.  Why so early? Well I needed to see them before Jacob started work and Lily went to preschool.  Between my schedule and their summer schedule…we almost missed each other, BUT I’m so glad we made it happen!

(It was a 7:30am meet-up…if you know me, normally this wouldn’t be that enjoyable-I really don’t do mornings well…but there were dear friends to visit with and the added bonus of seeing their two darling girls! A gorgeous 2 1/2 year old and delightful newborn waiting for cuddles-how could an early morning be way horrible with those two factors?!)

Here’s a ‘sneak’ peak of some of the photos I got of your amazing family that early Tuesday morning!

I’m just going to let the photos do the talking!

Here are two ‘outtakes’ from the photo shoot.  The first photo was taken near the end of the photo-shoot.  “Mom looking happy at infant-bundled in straight-jacket  swaddling blanket.  Toddler hiding her face playing peek-a-boo and Dad happily smiling at the camera!”

The second outtake… Lesson Learnt: Once a 2 1/2 year old decides that they are DONE with photos… it’s really hard to wrangle them back into looking at the camera!

Anna and Jacob,

Thank you for allowing me to capture your family through my camera’s lens.  I hope these photos will help preserve this moment in time for you to look back on in years to come.  I am so blessed by our friendship.

Hope you have a fantastic summer…and amazing time when you travel west to see family.

Luv you, Sarah
